LG Optimus 4X HD launch announced for 11 countries, comes with Media Plex real-time video effects

The quad-core touting, 720p display-flashing LG Optimus 4X HD finally saw its launch announced today in 11 European countries, two months and change after its announcement before the MWC 2012 Expo, and pretty much on schedule.

The handset sports a 4.7" marvel of the IPS LCD display technology, 2150mAh battery, four Tegra 3 processor cores clocked at 1.5GHz plus afrugal "companion core" for the mundane tasks like standby and shmoozing around the interface.

Said UI is Optimus 3.0, which sports the Quick Memo function, which resides in the notification bar, allowing you scribble with finger something you immediately need to remember, and it stays on the screen as a reminder. There are plenty of other goodies in there too, like Voice Shutter, allowing you to tell the 8MP camera module to take a pic when you are part of the frame, not sitting behind the scenes as the cameraman.

The LG Optimus 4X HD will be on sale in UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands, Sweden and other European countries this month, and will also offer the Media Flex software, which allows you to apply effects to video playback for livening up the scene a little.
